“Ceremonial grade” is a common retail label for matcha marketed for drinking plain. It may express a seller’s own selection, but the wording alone does not tell you exactly how the tea was grown, when it was packed or whether you will enjoy it.
Ask for details beyond the grade
Look for origin and producer information, harvest or packing details where offered, flavour notes, intended use and storage instructions. A transparent seller should give you more to work with than a large word on the front of a tin. Compare price by weight or by your usual serving, not only by package price.
